What is PSEI?

PSEI was founded in 2009 as a platform through which students would be encouraged to think entrepreneurially to identify areas of need - and then innovate to address those needs.

We are an entirely student-run organization, currently 200-strong, and we strive to empower Princeton students to be agents of sustainable, positive change in the world through our unique programs and initiatives. We focus on inspiring students to make a difference, providing opportunities for students to explore the concept and applications of social entrepreneurship, and offering needed resources to support the growing network of Princetonian social entrepreneurs.

Our Mission

To provide a support network for students interested in pursuing social entrepreneurial activities both during and after their time at Princeton;
To encourage and facilitate exploration, discussion, and immersion in social entrepreneurship;
To propel the conversation around social entrepreneurship to the forefront of Princeton's efforts in global engagement;
To promote Princeton as a hub of social entrepreneurship in the world.
