What is PwP? Products With Purpose is one of PSEI's trademark programs, founded with the goal of providing access to market for student social entrepreneurs selling products that make a difference. In partnership with the Princeton University Store (UStore), PSEI is currently working with vendors to generate sales and collect valuable feedback from the market.

What's next for PwP? Products With Purpose is pivoting to become a distributor of socially and environmentally responsible consumer goods, aimed specifically at the college-aged market. We are currently in the process of expanding our supplier base to include brands which will be desirable to a wider campus audience - inclusive of, but not necessarily limited to, personal care products and food and beverages. We may also work with different stores and universities in the area to expand our reach.

meet our vendors

Ubomi Beads by Mama Noks aims to empower single women, youth, and the community in the South African township of Gugulethu by promoting the production and international distribution of locally handcrafted jewelry produced from recycled magazine paper. Ubomi Beads was founded in 2011 as a result of a multicultural relationship formed between Gugulethu single mother Nokuzola “Mama Noks” Matolengwe, American semester-abroad students at the University of Cape Town (UCT), and South African UCT students.

fall/winter 2012 campaign 

In partnership with the Akanksha Foundation, recipient of Indian NGO of the Year 2010, MCMS incorporates the artwork and insights that these talented children develop in their art classes into distinctive, unforgettable greeting cards. MCMS designs and sells the cards in the US, and cycles the proceeds back to the young artists to support scholarships for higher education.
